Halfway through the challenge and I used the large blade to cut my sandwich in half.

Grilled roast beef and cheese.  The only thing missing that would have made it perfect was a cold root beer in a frosty mug. :hatsoff:

Day 16
Wife got nice flowers from daughter and grand-kids for Mother’s Day.  We left the next day for a camping trip and the Ocean City Cruisin.  Today, the 16th, Repurposed a juice bottle and cut some flowers to fit in our camper.  Small blade and scissors made short work of it.  Still pretty to look at, and thinking Tropical.

What is the little stone next to it?

I've never had good luck with that pull-through sharpener...but I do like my coffee black. :tu:

Today no uses except bottle opener.
One of three tools I haven't used in the Micra challenge. I might have to fix that.

That’s carnelian. Very pretty stuff.

Day 16: It was trash pickup day, so the main blade got a ton of use, breaking down cardboard for recycling.

I use it only light touch honing. Black coffee really brings coffee taste to another level.

Small blade trimmed two cigars.
My smoking days, I'm afraid, are over. But that's a pretty neat cigar band!

I use it only light touch honing.
I think that was part of my difficulty: I ham-handed it. And it was the wrong tool for the job. (When I got Tatty Rally, its blade was so badly dulled that it couldn't cut paper.)

Holy smurf! I think you've gotten more rain for the month than I have.

Explorer was “cutting up” this morning.  Fresh asparagus for breakfast!  Still enjoying Cruisin 2024.

You want to use closing on a new home as an excuse to buy new tools?  Sure.  We'll go along with that. ;)

We’re fine after the big storm; our power was only out for a few minutes. We were very fortunate compared to many others in Houston who still don’t have power.
