Leatherman Squirt P4
Victorinox Cadet
Victorinox Rambler
Uncle Bill's Sliver Grippers
Fenix E01
old Craftsman 4-way screwdriver
Big Skinny Card Case
handkerchief

You never know when you have to blow your nose and wipe your arse at the same time ;)

I have a similar G-shock now - the GWM5600BC. Negative display and a really comfy metal/resin band. No complaints about this one at all  :tu:

I really love the negative display you have, Nuphoria, but I'd just be concerned about the display wearing out quicker than the one I have:  much less LCD to color, compared to yours. :/  Nevertheless, I can't get over how nice your display looks. o.o

And no, the bandanna is of much rougher material than the handkerchief, so it's better for the rare occasion of sweat or whatnot, compared to my nose that likes to run. o.O

Casios are great workhorse, but I'm still drooling over some luminox.

I never carried any handkerchief, wonder if I should try it. I have some very nice wrinkle wave silk ones, but they have flowers on, so in second thought, I think I'll pass.

I have to admit that I've carried a cotton handkerchief for a few years now.   A bit old fashioned these days though. :-\

Old fashioned it may be, but I received kudos from one of my same-age peers in the movie club on campus, plus it seems like, after adding it to my EDC, I use that most of all. @_@

According to my Swiss Grandfather (Borne about the time Elsener produced the first Swiss Army Knife), it was essential EDC.  Although he always referred to it as a Naseputze. (?sp)

Sounds about right, certainly most chaps of my Grandfather's generation and before would have carried one, quite a few from my fathers generation (55+) and yet almost none from mine or younger.  Perhaps it's just another indicator of the "disposable culture" we find ourselves in. :-\

Either that, or young people don't like the idea of carrying around a snotty bit of material in their pocket.  Can't see why not myself.

I have an handkerchief in my right front pocket, and a bandanna in the back left.

the first is changed way more frequently :)

they get different uses, from snot to sweat, to tablecloth when I have to work on something with little parts.

Ok, I know, now I have to show my full  EDC, uh?

at the present it is "since a few days carry"; I got a maxpedition fatboy, and I'm still testing assets.
Cell phones and MT stepped from a pockits to some fatboy's pockets... left home two BT headsets for a multipoint one, changed EDC torch... changed keychain tools... it's soon to say "every day" :/

My dad always had a bandanna or handkerchief with him. It came in handy for all sorts of things. I carry one myself every day and have tried to get me 12 year old son to carry one as well (plus his Fieldmaster SAK when not in school).

A couple of weekends ago while we were in church there was a lady with two small children sitting in front of us. One of them had a cold with a really runny nose and she looked in her purse and nothing. So, I handed her my Sunday handkerchief and told her it was clean and of course to keep it.

Old fashioned. Maybe. But certainly easy carry and quite useful.  :tu:

I picked up one of this today.

And as always, sorry for the picture quality:

Mine has the little stripes marking out the 5 second intervals in brown. This would be my new EDC- reckon I need a watch sooner or later. :D :D

My handkerchief absorbs readily, and works quite well - besides, if you want to carry around a snotty bit of material badily, try carrying a tissue after you've blown your nose - no bloody way. -_-

Apart from anything else, it's eco friendly to wash and reuse such things.

It's so right that younger folks tend to just use and throw away anything they need. When I see someone getting carrier bags in the supermarket these days, it's usually someone younger. I rarely need one as we have a bunch of heavy duty reusable bags in the car.

If you don't have a car, it's easy to pocket carry a lightweight nylon bag and use that... just laziness not to I reckon. It's a generalization I know, but I think older generations appreciate the value of things a lot more.
