Lots of good pix today.  Took a little walk up to a spring in the woods.  Water levels were low, but still plenty for the varmints to drink from.  The deer have killed off most of the alders alongside the little stream.  The fuzzy browsers have cleaned out a large portion of the low growing plants.  Best wishes.  G

Hi Gordon,
Silverthingie is a SC.  That's a nice flashlight photo.  Might have a critter photo tomorrow.  I put out some leftover Beefaroni.  I had five deer in my front yard today.  No camera there, of course.  The varmints peek from the bushes and when I put out a camera they giggle and run and hide.  Best wishes.  G

“ Silverthingie is a SC”

Silver Tech is the name of the scales.

A SWISS CHAMP IS A SIZABLE TOOL!

I had to look it up as I am not familiar with all the models.
I am sure that is not a MacGyver sized SAK ! 😜

I found that some critters are just camera shy, and others are camera hogs.

Raccoons we’ll eat just about anything.   In my neighborhood I do not leave anything out for them, they already devour my suet cakes and tear apart the cages. Even unclasping chains  and doing the deed off camera.

My son who’s camera I borrowed could not belief it.

He uses the camera to monitor his fruit trees   Thought squirrels were eating his peaches, nope neighbors cat! And a stray deer.   It liked his figs as well.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Are you sure it's not a Silverthingie?  Ah, shucks.  Now I will have to try and get that off the side of the box.  I wrote it on with a Sharpie.  Next thing you will probably tell me the see-through red ones aren't called Red Jelly.
The trail cams can yield surprises.  I thought a dog might have been digging up my yard.  A gray fox was the culprit.  Sometimes I get a coyote, or bobcat, or fox, but mostly possums and raccoons.  Some skunks and rabbits.  Occasionally a house cat.  On rare occasions a dog.
I can hear Werecoyote outside right now.  I wouldn't go outside for love nor money.
Best wishes.  G

I like RED JELLY!   Or BLUE BERRY and SIlVER THINGIE each sound better any ways.

Have you ever looked at the Leaf's Victorinox site?  If you look at his catalog download section, you can find Vic catalogs from the '80's until now.  Might be a fun thing to download a few catalogs and look through them.  I am assuming you are using a compooter instead of a cell phone.  SAkwiki also has Wenger and Vic catalogs.
As soon as the sun comes up, I need to check my camera.  See what came to midnight snacktime.  Werecoyote had his minions whipped up into a chorus just after dark yesterday.  Might have to make some more black eyed peas today.  Last ones were sooooo good.
Best wishes,
G

Here's some Beefaroni,
Made with macaroni,
Beefaroni with no meat,
Barely can be fit to eat,
Smells like someone's dirty feet,
Oh no, not me,
I want Chef Boyardee.

A little makeshift repair on Mrs. R's car to keep the window up until I could make a better wedge and get the regulator replaced. I took a straw, cut it into a couple of pieces and used the can opener tip to slide the rubber seal back so I could put the wedges in.  When I got home I replaced them with cardboard wedges.
