Today marks the completion of
fifty complete rotations of my best and oldest friend.
I didn't want to use the word "old" but, if the shoe fits, wear it!
Okay, sure it's a milestone worth commemorating, but why am I telling all of you about it? Simple- because it's a day you would want to celebrate as well since you know him too- that's right, Whoey, aka Micah turns fifty today!
Now, Micah is someone who generally likes things low key and prefers to blend into the background, happy to work away like Multitool.org's very own Oompa Loompa, keeping things organized and running so we can all enjoy this site every day.
Unfortunately, he has a real smurfhole for a friend (that would be me for those keeping track!) who thinks he's pretty damned awesome, and not just because he has been putting up with me for THIRTY FIVE years!

Who'd have thought we'd have made it this far man? How many times should we have died from things like alcohol poisoning or falling through the ice on partially frozen lakes?

Yet here we are man- still kicking, healthy and (mostly) intact.
Here's some background for you all:
Micah and I met in high school when he was the new kid on the block I delivered newspapers to. We became inseparable for a while, until we were separated when my family moved to Ontario. Not to be outdone, Micah moved to Toronto and we met up again there and in London (Ontario, not England- let's not get ahead of ourselves!) and then in Toronto again.
Then After a few years Micah decided to head to the west coast of Canada, then to the UK, then to Spain and now he lives most of the time in the North of France. Few people outside of Witness Protection have made as many different countries their home as Micah has!

I'd appreciate it if everyone here would take a moment to wish Micah a happy birthday, since this site wouldn't still be running if it weren't for his tireless efforts to keep it going.
Happy birthday buddy, and here's to the next 35 years with a better friend than I ever deserved.
