Used tapatalk always, but I got worse and worse and now it's as you said broken. Need to get better at using the mobile version of the website :tu:

I tried it years ago and didn't care for it. The mobile version of the website works great. I do spend most of my time on the forum on my pc as I like it better.

I would hate to think all the work was for just 3 users...

I use tapatalk and I like it. One app for more forums. All in one place. Easy navigation through threads and topics. Easy inserting pictures into posts.

I am still getting used to the web page of MT forum. I find it difficult to navigate through topics and to keep up with new posts. Tapatalk makes that easy for me.

What is Tapatalk and why do people use it?

Tapatalk is a parasite on forums that does have a few user oriented advantages to seem like an attractive idea.

They provide a streamlined interface that is homogenized over a variety of forums (you never have to look for the reply button on different forums for example, since it is always in the same place) while allowing access to most forum functions.  This makes it attractive to the forum users.

What they don't tell you is that they tend to block the ads that support the forum and supplant them with their own so they make income off the content the forum provides, while cutting back significantly on the income the forum is able to generate for itself.

Also, as you can see, they also like to screw around and then blame the forum for any issues.

But other than that, Tapatalk is great.

One of the main reasons I used it years ago was that my photos would never upload because they were always too big in file size. That doesn’t happen as often anymore for whatever reason.  Now if I could only figure out how to get them to fit on a mobile size page once uploaded we would be in business.
