Or is this not enough crows?

Maybe it's just an attempted murder?

(For those that don't know, a flock of crows is called a murder)

Pretty cool.

A group of skunks is called a stench.  Also, a wisdom of wombats, and a prickle of porcupines.   :ahhh

And yet you opened it anyway!   :D

English has a bunch of silly words for things that really don't actually need words, mostly because there are already words for it.  In this example, usually a bunch of birds in one place is called a "flock" and, the idea of coming together and flying together is called "flocking."

Unless it is crows, in which case we call it a murder of crows instead of a flock of crows.

And, if it's geese, it's a gaggle of geese and not a flock of geese.

I don't know why crows and geese are singled out with their own words, especially when "flock" works just as well, but there you have it.

It's also not just common birds that get fancy terms, as seagulls, robins, pigeons, chickens etc are called flocks when they are together.

I makes no sense, but then a lot of English terms were written by noblemen who wanted to feel special so they probably invented terms to make themselves feel superior to others around them.

Yes English is silly sometimes. And there are so many words instead of just simply saying " a group of (animals)"  :D
Ever since I studied English at school years ago, and until now whenever I read "a school of fish" I would just imagine bunch of fish with backpacks
