Look about two spaces below your listing in Multitools for Sale and you will find one.  For sale.  UK.  Best wishes.  G

A little wary of that listing. They posted under another name on Swiss Army collectors FB page initially for 500GBP then it went up to 700 when I was asking. Saw it here afterwards with same images for 600 and now dropped to 550 on the FB group. Not even sure what to believe. I was willing to take the chance even considering our own ridiculous exchange rates and costs to clear it, but don't want to go through all that to end up in some heartache.

I had a similar experience. Did not get a favourable response with no intention to take it forward.

thanks

I reached out to that poster about it a few days ago and asked if it was still available and if they’d be willing to ship it internationally, and they said that yes, it’s available, but they don’t want to ship to the US because of concern about the knife being seized in customs inspections since it wasn’t ever offered here due to its lighter not being compliant with US regulations. My impression is that’s not the response a scammer would likely give: they’re usually willing to tell you whatever it takes to get your money. A shame, because I would have loved to have it to complete my collection of monster Victorinox knives; hopefully someone in the UK manages to scoop it up.

I really did not know what the intention of the seller was - stopped communicating suddenly when a discussion was starting to  move forward. Thats not the way you build up a rapport with someone who is trying to buy your item. It would be interesting if the seller posts an update.

Sadly that story is usually the other way around.  So many US based sellers refuse to ship outside the US for similarly ineffective reasons.
