Thanks!  This is probably my favorite place in the world to be, and this time of the year can be a bit chilly, but it's well worth it.

My father doesn't have an EDC per se, but he is well equipped, and these are a few things I found lying around in different spots!

First up is a CRKT Folding Razel that was in the glove compartment of his car.

Then a Grohmann Belt Knife in his closet.

Next up are his go to tools, a SOG PowerPlay and a CRKT Guppie.  He likes the compound leverage of the PowerPlay, so he's probably going to get a PowerLock for Christmas.  Shhh.   :D

Then there was this classic piece- if you know, you know!   :D

Oh, and there's this little Kershaw hanging around.  It gets moved around so much I'm pretty sure it has a mind of its own!

Getting back to the scenery, Megan decided to make herself a hot chocolate and watch the sun set on the dock last night.

I was there for a bit, but the bugs are apparently still quite active and I am just as tasty as ever.

Looks like a Kershaw Chive; am I correct? A Chive has the dubious distinction of being the only knife I've managed to lose while carrying it.

I believe it is a Chive, but I always get my Onions mixed up!  :D

We are sitting in the Sudbury Airport waiting for our flight to take us home- or at least to Toronto for our connection home.

It was a great visit with my family, as it always is.  I am definitely more of a small town/out in the woods type rather than a city guy.  Cities are nice places to visit, but I am going to miss waking up and looking out at the river and the fall colors.

My birthday went well enough- I passed the sun for the 50th time, and now I am headed back home to strap on the harness and get back to the grind.

Vacations are never long enough, and they jump almost instantly from "Just got here" to "we need to pack, we leave in the morning."

We just landed in Halifax and are waiting for a spot at the Terminal to de-plane.

The trip is over and now the post trip work begins.
