Day 24

I thought my pocket clip BOND looked good enough for a photo…
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

It rode there awl afternoon.  Visited oldest son in hospital, post surgery since he has been moved from infection diseases floor.
They had to remove donors fluid from left lung’s plural area.  Pneumonia care went nowhere’s leading to a yet to be explained event.  Arthroscopic procedure successful avoiding need to cut and spread ribs. 👍
He is already breathing better, able to speak entire sentences.

Hope your son get well soon.

Meanwhile my son and daughter are having fever, 1 with RSV and another for unknown reason.

My boy is tough, although he is young (3yo). He tries not to make us worry and hide things from us. That's what makes us worry.  :-\

Dayi 24

Used the Bond today to free a new to me SOG PPP. The new one is an Edmonds Washington built example. My other was built in Lynwood Washington. Still in the process of checking it out. Been noticing subtle differences in the tool between the tool.

Nice trio, JonesE! :like: :tu: :tu:

Congratulations on the SogPPP!

Day 25

First night shift, first job - opening a new bag of coffee.

At home, I use pretty nice beans, usually single origin, lightly roasted, and very fresh. At work? Any old supermarket rubbish just to get me through the night.

Nice use and pic, Crunchie! :like: :tu: :tu:

I have a regular Vagabond and it is the only SAK I usually carry other than an Executive :salute: I need to get an alox version of each but wished you could still carry the toothpick and tweezers :tu: :like:

Day 25

Bond with my favorite 58mm Victorinox, the Vagabond:

My Vagabond (aka Manager) has rode in my pocket since mid 90s.  It is my EDC,  but sadly it must stay home when ever I traveled by air since 2001.

Alox would be nice, yet toothpick and tweezers are essentials.  (And, I do have a back up! )

PS: Pictures not posting!!!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 25

I almost made it through a challenge without a tool-opening-a-tool post.  Here it is - my Bond opened the package for a medium Stockman.  Case discontinued several black/green micarta knives, so I had to grab one while they were still inexpensive.
