Home Depot tool bags.

Some years ago, I picked up a 10" tool bag from the Home Depot, for around $10.00. Found it quite handy to keep my sharpening things in. I've been on the lookout for another ever snce.
Fast forward to today; went to the Home Depot to pick up some washers and saw a set of 3, 10" bags for $13.00. Look to be decent bags, too.
I know I'm not the only one that an assortment of tool bags so head down to your local HD and grab them before they're gone.
I really do like the assorted things that the stores have available for Christmas.

I got around to taking all the small sized tools from out of the old grab bag that I had kept them in and put them into one of the Anvil bags. Plenty of room to add more "Smaller than normal size" tools, now.

Well, finally got around to downsizing a lot of my tools.
Added this to my Anvil bag. Still keep my full size things in the big box but these small sized tools are handling over 90% of my needs these days.
The whole bag weighs less than my old socket set alone.

I like that small level. That would come in real handy with all the stuff my wife's been asking me to hang lately. What's that tool on the bottom left between the bits in the red holder and the blue screw drivers?

That's a Milwaukee 7 in one multi bit ratchet. Came from the Home Depot. Comes with those bits in the red holder. Really pleased with it.

By the way, the level came from AliExpress.
I got it for the same reason.

Hi Pit,
Have you experimented with the retrieval claw or whatever it is called? Best wishes. G

I played around with it some, Gary, not enough to get good with it though. I ordered that because my granddaughter has a tendency to let things fall off of our front porch. The steps are almost too much for me these days so I try to find ways to grab them from up top. I didn't put the magnet that I bought in the picture to be able to get metallic items off the ground.

With fear of sounding totally incompetent, what is the good looking MT in the lower right corner with the red lanyard, Pitcarver?

Don't feel bad, Dane. It's a cheap multitool/knife that I got from one of the Chinese sites.

I didn't want to modify another M/T so I thought I'd give it a shot. Cheap and cheerful tool.
I'm pleased with it so far.

Thanks PitCarver.
That looks neat.
I like the large sheepfoot blade.
It seems they manage to utilize the full length of the tool for the blade?
Looks quite welldesigned with a great selection of tools. Those are the ones I tend to use from my SAK's most of the time.

You know what would be the perfect place for that mini-magnet? Tied to some stout line on the end of an old fishing rod. Something like an old solid fiberglass rod with a little Zebco 202 reel. Child loses a toy from the porch. Pit turns his rocker left about 15 degrees and ZIZZZ, makes a perfect cast to the lost metal article and reels it in. Good to hear the grandchild is around. Best wishes. G
