I’ll be getting a PX in the new colour - not sure how different this red will look from previous iterations though…..

I think it’s one of those colors we’ll have to see in person. It might be coral, flat red, rose gold? I like it though! I wish Vic would bring back the Cadet and drop the Evoke.

This is one where I’m guessing it will look much better in talk life than in Vic’s notoriously bad renders.
I, too, wish they had kept the cadet as part of the lineup. And even more wish they had kept the pioneer. I don’t care for the evoke or the pioneer x, tbh.

Whoa
I was just thinking about this earlier today/over the weekend
I would say the colour is salmon - But as you say let's wait till we see
One feature of the Annual Vic Alox Series seems to be that in the early release marketing shots the colours look just awful
And they turn out better in real life
- ALthough this red/salmon doesn't look too bad!!
I cannot see them going back to the Cadet or Pioneer
.... as this generates less $$$
Unless, of course, the argument is that you sell way more Cadets vs Evoke - So overall make more money!!

I’ve just noticed they’re are live on Victorinox UK:
https://www.victorinox.com/en-GB/Alox-Limited-Edition/cms/alox-limited-edition/
Still the same £75 price.
I was going to buy one to commemorate my Fifty Birthday, but Salmon/Coral/Pink just isn’t my jam. (Luckily, Thunder Grey is still available. )
Good luck to all who purchase one.

Can't wait to see it in person. Just ordered my usual two PX's. I miss the Cadet and the Pioneer, too!

I’ve ordered a stone red PX from Heinnie Haynes in the UK - £70 rather than the £75 Vic is charging on their site - should come quicker from Wales than Germany too (Vic UK sends stuff from Germany which can take over a week to arrive). Still not had an email from Vic about the LEs which is odd to say the least…..

I picked mine up from my local shop this afternoon.
I thought I’d share a photo, but my lack of photography skills combined with a lack of natural light resulted in a bunch of shots that do not capture the color.
I will say it has much more of an orange cast—at least to my eye—than the promo photos would indicate.

Mine's on it's way. Looks like Salmon in the pictures but I'll find out for myself soon enough.

Someone on Reddit posted some real life photos. As expected, it looks better than the render, at least to me. Still not a huge fan of the color, though.

Fresh delivery from Heinnie Haynes - interesting colour, and I quite like it! More like the stone in the background of the Vic pics. Also just received an email from Vic telling me they’re available…… Anyhow, here’s a pic of the line up from 2015-2025 pioneers and PXs, and one showing the stone red between the 2018 berry red and a red soldier from 1963:

Mine arrived today too! My wife said, "And its color is different how?" It is salmony, but it's also a little terra cotta. I quite like it. I'll try to take a family photo like Henry's.
Best wishes to Alox fans everywhere!

But I still cannot work out how that colour is red ... or stone for that matter
Australia is famous for its Red Earth and sandstone - But it ain't that colour !!!

I know what you mean about the colour, Huntsman, and feel free to use my pic in the SAKWiki. The colour changes under different lighting, almost looks orange under some conditions!

The color looks nice in actual pictures. As usual, Victorinox seems to have produced the worst picture themselves....
I'm actually tempted by this one! I have never bought one of the yearly special editions before.

Maybe I'll get a Pioneer X later in the year, if they stick around that long. And it doesn't look much like the red rock I saw in southwest Utah, either.
