It was available at Walmart for around 20$, but is impossible to buy in Europe...
Any ideas how i could lay my hands on one of these?

Might be different at other locations, but where I live Walmart has lots of Ozark Trail knives before Christmas.  Very few at other times.  This past Christmas season similar Ozark Trail knives were sold in sets of three and four knives per box for $25.  My local Walmart is only now restocking their knife counter.  Next time there I will take a look and see what they have.  Personally, I would see what I could find in Europe and forget about these things.  Best wishes.  G

I found a photo I took from November 2024 with a 3 pack of Ozark Trail fixed blades for $15.  No, I didn't buy any.  They are probably in the 9 inch overall length, or so.  Just a guess from what I remember.  A little shorter than the one you were looking for.  Best wishes.  G

Mainly for self-edification, I checked the knife counter at W-Mart today.  No Christmas gift sets as expected.  Knife display is about a third full.  Three SAKs (Trekker, Tinker, Classic).  No large Ozark Trail knives.  There was a standing rack that had what looked like the internet sensation from last year.  Remember the orange handled OT folder that cost $9.95?  Copy of a Bugout, or Bugspray or something.  Some kind of Benchmade.  Everybody was crooning about these things.  I think friend Aztec bought one.  There are a bunch of these in two colors packed in a hanging card.  No current price on the display.  Knives were a little smaller than I thought they would be?
Best wishes.  G

I honestly don't see what people saw in those things. They were uncomfortable and kinda flimsy compared to a Benchmade, and despite them claiming D2, it didn't hold an edge like D2.   Yet, I keep mine around as a work knife, since it's got the AXIS-style lock, and is basically the cost of a hamburger to get a new one if I lose mine.

Seems that once Benchmade's patent expired--EVERYONE is now making some knife with a similar lock. Klein now has a huge range of AXIS-type folders in either AUS-8 or 9CR. There's even a hawkbill!   Carlyle/NAPA has quite a few that. like the Ozark Trail, are obviously heavily modeled on the Bugout, and they even have a 3.8" closed model that is obviously like the Mini Bugout.
