Why does UPS shipping take SO damn long!

Hey guys, I have a package on the way from Cabelas, and it was shipped out yesterday and I'm not going to get it until March 3! This is ground shipping too! Isn't that absurd? LOL!

Yes. Everything I've ordered from Cabela's arrives in 2 to 3 days. Although it does cost a ridiculous amount.
I used to come here a lot.

Be glad it's not coming via USPS. It'd pro'lly take longer! FWIW, your item(s) might be coming from another Cabela's if the closest one you to didn't have it in-stock.

It's coming from Boise.. Still USPS First Class would only take 3 days!

I once ordered some Glock mags from Cabelas and it took 2 days with regular shipping.

There is no good shop like Cabela's in Australia...so count yourself lucky :P

Do they ship to Australia?

They ship to the UK, so I'd be surprised if they didn't Tinnie.

However, they insist on using a UPS Express service, which costs a lot and virtually guarantees that you're going to be stung for import duties by your local leeches customs. On the other hand, you get your stuff in a few days.

I have used them to buy Cabela's exclusive tools, but I would think that after the postage and import duties, you'd probably find most things cheaper elsewhere.

Just my experience, but you should check it out, because they do have some very cool stuff  :multi:

Off all delivery services I find UPS to be the most expensive as far as international shipping goes.  Brokerage /duty charges are outrageous.  If a company only offers UPS shipping I'll pass on ordering.
