Victorinox Moët & Chandon edition
on: October 01, 2025, 10:49:22 AM
Yesterday I did my last workday. Today I am retired. I have had a great time working and I am fortunate to be able to retire at 61.

I can do this (Moët & Chandon)...

Congratulations!

Enjoy your new life style!      When I did retire a few years ago, I learned first to keep moving!  The joints tend to bind up and we can quickly loose muscle.
Second, establish a schedule, keep it loose, but fundamental. (My alarm goes off at 7am daily) I do not always rise then, but it is a starting point.

Enjoy each day, it is a gift to enjoy!

So very happy for you!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Thank you all (awl)  ;)

Spent the day in the woods. One of my favourite pastime - hunting, picking mushrooms or just walking.

In Swedish this is Karl-Johansvamp and röd trumpetsvamp. I believe they are called cep and yellow trumpet mushroom in English. In Italy the Karl-Johan is Porcini (and maybe all over the world ?) We have a lot of them here.

The knifes were a fixed blade EKA W11 and a generic mushroom folding knife - with a brush.

Parboiled the Karl-Johan and and vacuum packed them. This will be for pasta dishes during the winter.

The yellow trumpet mushrooms were dried, it took 5 hours, and will be perfect for cream sauces together with deer.

As a first day this was nice. Tomorrow will be spent in the hobby shop - putting together an old bicycle.
