Merit Badges Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. Just to reflect on my luv for the SPARTAN!

My first experience with a larger SAK was a Pioneer, dark grey Alox that pocket carried very well.

But because no scale tools or cork screw I looked again and a younger member here told me about his Spartan with a serrated blade, at first I thought he was telling me a yarn.  But, SPARTAN19, finally shared a picture a year later and maybe a while after that REI offered a Serrated Spartan online for like $19. I bought 3.
Love at first site, an AWL too, opening level, a SE blade and a pen blade. 

I paired it was a CLIMBER, and I had a belt sheath with both.  Adventures and hikes tackled in style.

Then I did a ‘tween challenge.  Learned about 84mm models and 85 mm Delmont units. 

EVO 10 & 14 models 😀.  Read about members with a SPORTSMAN and a TOURIST, and a few others but the CORKSCREW  was my make or break point.

Then earlier this year a MacGyver challenge occurred.  Learned about the Tinker line, Phillips backside tool and Tinker up and down the spectrum.  With matching units of different names instead of SPARTAN this or that.

Still loved the Spartan, 2 layer bliss for me!  I did pull the SPARTAN for being paired with a CLIMBET and replaced it with a TINKER.

THAT SPARTAN received plus scales and saw more pocket time then.

This challenge reaffirmed my decision to have SPARTAN on daily standby.

Enjoyed everyday of this past month.
Great pictures, but more a pleasure spending a small slice of each of your days via your snips of postings shared number 1 - 30 and beyond.  :hatsoff:

And finally, Day 31:

I helped build a go-cart at a company team-building event, then proceeded to ruin my sock and shoe when the end of the axle caught my ankle as I was pushing it during the race. No Spartan use, although my Wave’s saw is clogged with PVC dust from cutting pipe to make the cart.

My used Climber with new plus scales is waiting in the wings for its return to my pocket tomorrow.
