Anyone else still in the Fitbit club?
on: October 05, 2025, 09:53:22 PM
I know, it's been years since Fitbits were popular, but that's why I am finally able to join in the fun!

I actually got a Fitbit because my current smart watch (Samsung Galaxy Frontier S3) seems to be about the only watch that doesn't automatically upload step/mileage info to the Movember app, so I figured I would take the plunge.

I started wearing it on my right wrist, and that frees up my left wrist to start wearing my other watches again, as you may have seen in the Watch It forum.

Anyways, if anyone is interested the Fitbit club and wants to add me, I promise I will make you look good!   :D

Oh, for those wondering, I got the Inspire 3.

I have had smart watches for a few years, currently a Xiaomi, but find most of their functions as more of a novelty these days.
I just mainly use the timer and the answering the phone on your watch functions...

No Fitbit, at it was way before my time  :)

Honestly most of what I like my smart watch for is the time, timer and step counter.

I could probably just wear the Fitbit and no watch, but the teeny, microscopic screen on this cheap Fitbit is not really easy to see.

I'm not, but Mrs. FX had one. I can't say I was a fan of the charging method (a magnetic deal that may have been proprietary). She put a sort of reddish-purple band on it. If I remember correctly, those were the first quick-release spring bars I'd seen.

Just to do a bit of a comparison here...

The Fitbit seems to count less steps than my Samsung watch pretty regularly.

I don't know which one is accurate but 500-600 steps is a pretty significant difference.
