Ooooh, I want one.

So, the tool is forged steel and not cast?

Company says it is CNC milled from a billet of 303 stainless steel.  Not forged or cast.  Best wishes.  G

I will admit my ignorance on what that means in terms of tool strength.

I know that one of the biggest weak points of most PBMTs is that they are cast steel, which makes them physically weaker, especially to twisting motions, than a forged pliers like a Knipex or Channelocks.

But I don’t know what the tool being CNC milled means.

Good for low production work.  Computer Numerically Controlled machining.  Forging is a bigger deal.  Casting can be weak or strong.  Depends on the metal and heat treat.  CNC is basically load a piece of stock in a machine and the computer cuts it out and shapes it.  Tools are automatically switched according to program to mill the finished shapes.  Machine can check tolerances, angles, etc.  Best wishes.  G

PS You can't heat treat 303 SS.  Easy to machine.  Maybe not a good choice for a tool.  G

Hmm, interesting. A wait and see approach might be better for me on this one then. I do really like the concept of it though.

Thanks for the recognition
It's a decent set of pliers and it works good but he's going to have to find something better than 303. I'm starting to see deformation in the teeth with usage. My Knipex fairs far better but it's forged I believe. It's neat and comes with a warranty which makes me feel better. He's got revisions coming to the pliers which should solve some of these problems.
