First-hand experience?

I already have an ARC and was wondering how the really expensive Dakoyu wire cutter replacements sized up? I'd rather ruin the Dakoyu working outside as long as they're decent enough.

I doubt many Arc owners have used them hard to enough to have to replace the wire cutters, but perhaps someone will be able to shed some light on this.

Well I dinged the cutters on my Arc cutting this hook. Yes, a hook is hardened, but come on - look at the size of this thing. The ding was big enough that it "caught" when using the pliers, the two cutters were rubbing and catching each other. Like the metal moved to the side. Filed off pretty easily. I am not happy with those cutters.
