I love the fact that one of you is trying to stop frostbite getting his nose and the other is wearing shorts, despite the fact that Paul actually lives further North :D (I think so anyway :think:).

Poole isn't it?  Well Poole is 50° 43' 0" N, and I think Grant is in Halifax which is only 44° 39' 0" N, so you are actually further North than he is. :o  That said the UK is freakishly warm compared to most other places on the same latitudes.

Gulf stream.... we get about a third of our heat from the water. Without it we would be a lot colder on the UK.

I could have been in shorts today, although I'm expecting it to be cooler tonight. I've been at work since 0730hrs and I don't expect to be done until ten tonight. It was chilly when I started and it'll be chilly when I leave, but the bit in the middle was nice!
