Congratulations to Martin Brodeur for making history in the NHL.    :)  It's really unfortunate there wasn't someone out there near the end who was packing a rescue knife with a decent serrated blade or something that could have  caught his attention and perhaps eased the pain of seeing him try to cut out that net with that crappy pair of scissors?  :-[  That was a bit painful to watch but anyhow good going Martin!

Umm... Care to share what record he set? I watched the Stars get their heinnies crushed by the Canucks last night.

He is 4 shutouts away from beating Terry Sawchuk's career shutout record.
