The bit of showing backspring looks fine Ben.  Its not like you have just a blank liner showing, 'tis good stuff mate  :tu:

 Not surprised about the scissor snap, we just need some corkscrews with bigger bums :pok: Now who do we know in the UK who does welding  :think:  Come on hands up people, just need a tiny blob of metal plopped down on some corkscews :D

I did manage to find a corkscrew with a very slightly bigger rear and the snap seemed OK once assembled, it was only after peening that I noticed how limp it was.  :(  Still, like I said it does work, just needs a bit of help to close that's all.  :D
