W5 is a sensationalist news show that looks into anything controversial, stirs the pot, then leaves the mess worse than when they started as they chase the next episode.  In this episode is a story of a guy whose ATV flips over and lands on him.  He attempts to use his Leatherman to cut himself loose but he couldn't open it one handed.  I am watching it now, but I have heard about it....  I will post more once I've seen it all the way through!

About 8 minutes into Part 1, the guy talks about trying to use his Leatherman (looks like a Crunch) to cut off his leg to escape.

Looks like a Crunch to me, his issue seems to have been that he couldn't get to his leg (the whole thing was stuck under the ATV) rather than having issues with getting the knife out.

Well as he looks to have been lying face down with all but his buttock stuck underneath the thing I suspect even if he had tried to cut his own leg off he'd have died pretty quickly. :o
