I have the organizer, too, but somehow I can't and can't really like it... I've tried using it as whatnot- a pocket/bag organizer and currently I just keep my house tools in it i.e. not something I'd like dealing every day with. Things aren't that accessible in it according to me- you have to lay it on a falt surface and open the whooole zipper ... or if you don't put it on a flat surface, it's just... all horizontal and you can't really operate well with it... You can't dig through its contents if the zipper(s) aren't fully open..

But that's only my opinion, of course :D May be I'm so helpless at organizing that even Maxpedition can't help me  :D

Okay, I have a couple now, a regular size one I'm still loading, and a micro I've made into a first aid kit.

After the earthquake a few weeks ago, this thing will never again leave my purse:

There are some bandaids, stomach pills, some prescriptions and cash in the Maxped. Micro wallet on the right.

Makes you think when the sticky stuff hits the fan.

I can't imagine leaving home without at least a few basic tools to get me out of trouble.

I carry two, a regular and a Micro:

The regular EDC one is my "techie toolkit":

Left Side: Husky 8-in-1 precision flat/phillips driver; Husky 8-in-1 precision Torx driver; stainless forceps; curved hemostat; Leatherman Bit Kit; oil pen; Victorinox Micro 1/4" Ratchet; Leatherman 1/4" Bit Extender; steel 6" rule, US/metric; custom hacksaw blade (fits clip/lanyard slot in Leatherman Wave/Charge); Norton's Universal Cleaning Stick; "black stick" non-conductive probe.

Right Side: ~6' yellow duct tape, ~10' electrical tape, mini 10' tape measure, 2x magnifier, hearing protection, mini circuit tester, DMT DuoFold diamond sharpener Fine/XFine, mini pry bar.

Right Side back pocket: 5 x 8" zip ties; mini sewing kit; EMT shears.

The Micro is the "power and connection kit" with chargers and cables:

Left Side: Shorty iDevice cable, ioGear USB SD/MiniSD/MicroSD/MMC Flash card reader, shorty MiniUSB cable, shorty microUSB cable; in the back, short FireWire 400 and FireWire 800 cables.

Right Side: Amazon Kindle 4W USB power supply, 30" USB extension cable.

After having seen, and tinkered with a Maxpedition EDC organiser, I came to the conclusion that it's small for me. I had contacted my friend Dark at Darktactical, and ordered a 95% copy of the original EDC organiser, the 5% change was swapping the mesh to simple cordura, I have a very bad trait regarding meshes. They tend to disintegrate when I'm near. :D The other change was a bit of size optimising, so to say, the organiser was scaled up to fill the side pocket of a BDU trouser.

The whole stuff was made out of 1100D WL cordura, with YKK zippers.

Small collection of SAK's, (but growing rapidly. :D) not so fast at this time. :( And the most important of all: Ze Zuper Zoldier by Steve!  :ahhh
