This is a response of sorts to the "chako is sick" thread... I've had the same tired old Timex digital watch for about the last 14-15 years, it's had at least 3 straps, and probably about 4 or 5 battery changes over that period. It's getting to the point where it needed the strap replaced again... and I figured it was time to change. Enter Grant's keen bargain finding skills, and shortly after, I'm the proud owner of a shiney new Swiss Military watch. On top of it all, it matches some of my favorite colors, so here is a little sample:

the old and the new...

The Team Canada (and Swiss friends!) series:

and one more to prove I'm not biased, yet still maintaining the colorscheme ;)

I'm glad you like it!

I was surprised to see that the Extreme series watches were discontinued, so hen I saw these I had to buy as many as I could afford at the time, which was tragically only three!

I have been eyeballing them for years, and thought I'd lost out on getting one when I found out they were finished.  I was really happy when I had the chance to get more!

Glad you like it!  Mine has almost replaced my Orange Monster!

Well I miss the day/date function on the Monster but since I don't wear it every day, I appreciate not having to set it all the time.  Right now the Monster says its 8:27 on Saturday the 19th.  :D

I do wish this one had a date setting on it... that's all it's really missing.
