Got it today and its a big box of poo.  Its all knock off tools, some not even usable.  Well thats the risk you take.  If anyone wants it I will ship it to you for the cost of shipping a Large Flat Rate Box.

Sorry about that man- it really does look like it should have had some Micras in it if nothing else.

I don't suppose you are up for some comparison shots between the fakes and a real Micra?

Umm, to be honest - and your post does remind me of this - most Victorinox knives I've handled that are NIB don't exactly smell the best until they've been carried and the smell wears off... don't know why that is, though... and no, I don't whiff all of my knives when I get them, I just notice it once in a while.  :think:  It's a shame that package was a dud. :(

Yeah the seller wasn't all that nice.  He was like I can't believe you opened up a case on me it had only been 10 days since you paid.  I mean I wouldn't even relegate these to giveaway or extra throw in status.  I guess I could throw these back up on the bay, but be more descriptive, I don't know.  They may just go in the basement to be lost and gone forever.

I'd pop it back up on ebay and just describe it better, but still stay a bit vague.  Something like "no name brands"...?  There are still people out there that buy this kind of thing up hoping to flip it and make a profit.  You never know, but at least you'll get something back.
