I want a farmer so bad!  My wife wanted me to buy my Bro in law a Bday present, so I picked out a Farmer for him thinking that the hint would be taken.  No such luck.

the only thing im slightly dissapointed with is its a bit rusty here and there :( he described it in as new condition which it is its just a few rust spots, any ideas on how to remove them?

im currently uploading about 50 photos so your see the sideclip when its done :D

^ yeah the tools are polished though is this normal?

i seem to have been a bit negative about the sideclip, i actually love it!

i like the brushed finish just not how it rusts the brushed look makes it look hi tech imo

OK - the rust.

The bead blast finish is notorious for collecting pools of moisture that eventually form rust (that's why they replaced that finish with the polished Sideclips allegedly).

Now, I've never seen rust on a Sideclip (as all of the ones I've handled have been NIB), but I've removed rust from bead blasted Gerbers in the past using wire wool. Just go easy, as if you're not careful you'll polish the steel!

Remove the rust from the pliers (which is almost certainly only on the surface) using the diamond file on your Charge - works a treat :)

Oh - and yes - the tools themselves should be polished - not matt.

You need an old tool adapter now, so you can appreciate the notch shown in your second picture ;)
