I've done it..by adding my recent Swisstool i've run outta space in my toolbox. Time to start looking for another sliding door storage solution.






need something bigger...just gotta figure out what it is. cost vs. space vs. oh yea....cost ;)

I'd dump the lesser used sheaths in a safe storage area and use that space in the mean while.

I saw a nice full sized steel tool box at Home Depot for just under $200 last week.  I have been sorely tempted as I've been needing one like that for a while, but tragically funds won't allow it at the moment.

why not just put aside a smallish room in your house, and fully shelve all its walls, with some display cabinets for the more special specimens.

That way, if you fill it up and need more space, you know you are going to be getting divorce papers. Until then (as long as you have been able to get agreement for it in the first place), you are fine.

Could put your desk in and make if your study.

The tools actually take less space than lying flat - that drawer was close to full to begin with - now it's about 3/4 full :)

That looks like the most indestructible tool box I've ever seen. Did you see the options for the custom fitting and bungee straps?

I love Pelican cases. I have a 1660 case with lid organizer for my Canon DSLRs.
