Champion - Retired Undefeated

Still a Champion, this Victoria-Victorinox mid 60s to very early 70s 6-layer Stag Champion (model: 246fmaU HH) is in new condition; still operating smooth.

Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

If you send it to me, I can replace it with a very nice Classic red scaled Champion of the same vintage.  I'm willing to take that cobbled together Champion for you... :D

Its a nail file.  You don't find them on the modern SAKs, instead we get the hook  Not a good trade in my opinion.

Very nice SAK and superb condition :tu:
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

That's exactly the way I think about it; it seems to have captured a touch point in the history.

Tools:
Clip-point Small Blade
Large Main Blade
Scissors; screw pivot; single leaf black spring
Fish Scaler; no measurement scales
Metal Saw/File; non chromium
Woodsaw; raked teeth
Caplifter; Screwdriver; Stripper Notch; Scraper
Can-Opener; +PAT on tang
Long nail-file
Reamer; no eye; long sharpened edge.
Corkscrew; tight 5 turn; deep groove; (different metal?)
Stag with Toothpick and Tweezers (metal head)
Shackle/Bail

Interesting...

My red cellidor "Champion" of the same vintage has the square phillips with file instead of corkscrew.  The rest of the  tools are the same.  Even has a bale.  Maybe it's not a "Champion?"  ???

Don't quote me on this as its from memory but I think way back then it would still have been called a Champion, just with a different catalogue number.

Yes, that is my understanding too.  A German price-list list them all as "Champion".  Your model number would be 146fmaU, even those without the shackle would be considered Champions at that time.

Enjoy!
