Much nicer! :tu:

So Tony, how strange does it sound when we call those adjustable wrenches "crescents"? (Can't recall if we've discussed this before?)

I don't know about Tony, but it does sound odd to me.  I always expect a crescent wrench to be some weird curved shape. :D  I even own a genuine "Crescent" adjustable spanner. ;)

Great job Sparkie!  :salute:

Thanks Magentus,
The German one at the front is great,  :tu:
The Indian one is ‘ok’      (Thanks for that Yadda)
The British one at the back looks ok but isn’t playing the game, still a ‘WIP’ (might be heading for the bin one day  :-\ )

I have to agree the German made adjustable looks like a solid tool.  Too bad the Taparia is just ok.  Was hoping it would be better.
Really hope you can salvage the British wrench.  If not, sell it to a steam punk enthusiast to add to an art project.  It has too much character to go into the bin.

Garbage salvage...

This Zenit ended up on my landfill (communal waste dump site) and my employee found it.

Obviously it is broken but it can be nice display piece

i was actually selling my stuff yesterday at car boot sale. So I went for looking tools, and bougt punc,  metal marker and cutting punch for eight euros. Thirty minutes later guy wanted to buy punch and cutting punc from me, and i sold them for ten euros for him. Not bad, left me with metal marker. So i went back to guy whom sold that stuff from me, and bought punch and two files because he had no more cutting punches. That cost me five euros. That was a win there.

Then there was a guy whom had some puukkos to sell. I traded my st300 for marttiini puukko and twintommi puukko. Ok deal there. Then i saw puukko collector five mins later,  and sold both puukkos for him for rather good price. Great win there.

Another grat buy was Billnäs petkele for fiver.(sorry i dont know how to call it in english). Pics to come...

Sad thing is, i do not have my st300 anymore. But got to sell some exxcess stuff my twins do not use anymore... This was one good carboot sale for a long time.

Those SAK's are a great find at a car boot! Did you get a bargain, or did the seller know their worth?

The red knife, fourth from the right appears to be a Vic with a grafting/pruning blade.

I like the SAK Fisherman in blue, although I've always been of the opinion that bottle openers and shot glasses were better fishing options than corkscrews....
