As you can see I’ve been messing around in my garage today (when I should be sorting pictures out for Kirk, tools for Crow and replies for Lowtec etc etc)

(Image removed from quote.)

The compound action pliers, how do you find them?

I've got the diagonal cutters version (just a budget brand) and like them heaps but the plier ones always sell out quick.

Bench is looking great btw.

Thanks  :D I only show you the good stuff, you should see some of the useless junk I bring home

@Zoidberg
Those were also cheap, they don’t get a lot of use but I have found the jaws don’t open very wide
and Thanks I’m happy with the bench now I replaced the temp legs (only took a few years  ::) )
I don’t know how long it will stay tidy that’s why I thought I should show you all a picture of it

^ :salute:

So I wanted a chop saw, I’ve seen some made from 4” disc cutters on you-tube,
All you need is a hinge and some kind of spring   wonder if I can find a big hinge combined with a spring then it would be easy....

 ;) Door closer

Bend this bit to 90

Screw it to a square of ply, add a bit of ally and mount the cutter using the second handle hole  :)

I used to have a Tormek.

They are a great but a bit expensive bit of kit (mine was a S/H bargain  :) )
Why did you get rid of yours?

I'm always jealous surprised by the amount of cool stuff you're able to find. On a side note, have seen this guy>

I picked these up this morning,
including the smallest adjustable spanner in the world, another hammer head made in to an axe and a little Gerber that needs some WD40 as I can’t open it  ::)
(not the DAK)

Oh yes and I bought home something that will sort out my multitool storage for ever  ;)
Just needs a little work

Nice collection!  The perfect handle screwdriver looks like it was made to pull tacks?

What are the manufacturers names on the adjustables?  Those really small ones are very collectable.

Yes it’s a nail puller, not sure but looking at all the grinds I think it’s a mod
The 4inch is made in Japan by ETC,
Middle one is a no name (maybe made in Germany)
The 10inch is made in England by Garringtons with a spanner moulded in to the handle, marked 7/61 (Date?) on one side and 3/8W (whitworth?) on the other
The wire gauge and scribe are made by Moore and Wright, England  :tu:

It does feel nice in your hand, this one is well used and well looked after (I've not seen this make before)
Hilka are a cheap make of ‘ok’ tools, I’ve not bought any since I first started work as they were rubbish back then but these feel quite good to me

Some perfect handle tools I’ve not seen before, but the hammers don’t look original to me?
