My first folding knife

I just got this Gerber folding knife in the mail today. Thanks GG for this knife. Now the question is, what is it? I love the look and what I believe is a frame lock.

I love framelocks. I have my sebbie and another custom from Martin Knives coming my way in another week or so. Red G10 scale on the front and Ti framelock on the back.

How did you know it was a frame lock just by the picture? I am just learning about the differnt lock styles used on a folding knife. I am thinking I would like an Axis lock. I like this Gerber a lot and am very happy with it.

Well no liners so it's not a liner lock. No back lock, and I own the mini version
