FME with pop rivets, you will find that over time, they will stretch and things will get floppy.

Still, very cool proof of concept.  :tu:

Tried finding somewhere that sells stainless steel rivets but no luck. Won't be using this for anything serious anyways. Here's the pics and video for those who don't like clicking my evil links

Not sure how it would hold up long term but that looks better than I imagined.

You can actually get them to grab harder and make them less likely to work loose if you expand and peen them afterwards. Below is an example of the stainless steel rivets in my Wave and Surge. That is not the rivet head you are looking at, it is the compressed end, nicely expanded and peened. I made a punch/peen tool specifically for this purpose.....
