So if you had to reduce your flash lite collection to just to one model, what would it be, and why? :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

From my collection, it would have to be my Surefire L4. Although it is now totally dated, it has sentimental value. It was bought for me by my sister.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

I would keep my Inova X5. It's built like a tank and it has great battery run time. It's not the brightest but it's the most reliable light for my needs.

I love my fenixes, and surefires. But if I have to reduce my lite collection to just one model, It'll be....
my Gerber Infinity. I don't know, maybe because it's different. ;)

Fenix PD10. I use it the most.

1. It's bright enough to use it to search for horses/dogs at night
2. Extremely pocketable.
3. Tail stands (barely)
4. When put on a ring with an Atwood Funnybone, it can be easily hung over a line, fenceboar, wire, or off a shelf for a makeshift worklight
5. Fairly waterproof (as best I can tell)

tricky one.  I was going to say my iTP SA2, but then I thought about it and suspect it's too big for carting around all the time.  Fenix L0D was in with a good chance as it gives out a good working level of light and is pocketable, but just not enough light and not enough throw for some tasks.

On reflection it would be my Eagletac P10A.  Good high/low light levels, good throw/spill balance, common battery, respectable run times, good build quality and tough as old boots in my experience. :tu:

iTP A2, no doubt.

Outstanding runtimes, 80 lumens are more than enough, it's sturdy and powered by just 1 AA.

I edc the little sister, the A3, and I couldn't be happier.

I almost always have the A3 in my pocket but if I could keep only one torch it would be the LD10 Millhouse sent me.  Small enough for casual carry but bright enough for outside use and runs from probably the most easily available battery on the planet.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

So far with my very modest collection it would have alot to do with comfortable carry, so I would go with
my Surefire E1E.

For me It would have to be my two stage Surefire E2L. It's bright enough to serve my needs, has great runtime, a really good pocket clip and UI. It's just the right size for my EDC needs and has tough as nails anodizing.

My E01 for exactly the same reasons.

Surefire A2.  Being colourblind as I am I want the incan for outside and the LED's for in.  The A2 ticks both boxes really well.

Oooooh tough  :ahhh

At the moment, Lumapower IncenDio V3 I think. Very low low and pretty darn high for a RCR123. Also easy IU and really small so it disappears in the pocket  :tu:

Ask me the same question next week though  :D

That's a tough one, but right now I'd have to say a Fenix P2D Premium 100.

Produces a good amount of light, multiple modes, beautiful neutral beam.

About the only thing you could say is that most people seem to be going for a single cell light, and even that's not 100%.

1 Inova
1 Gerber
4 Fenix
1 Eagletac
1 iTP
1 Lumapower
1 McGizmo

Just a little. :D

As best I can work out (I'm not familiar with all the lights mentioned here) we can further brake it down like this:

Cells used:
10 CR123A
5 AA
1 AAA

of these there are:
10 single cells
5 twin cells
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Hmmm........only one light, that's a tough one. While I am not a big fan of multimode lights if only one I could have of all the ones I own I would keep my O-Light M30 Triton.

My light uses vary widely and I need one for both work and at home. I need good flood which it has. It has to be bright, which it is. It has to have a simple UI easily operated by one hand, which it does. this light would give me all the flexibility I need......it has three modes of a 8 lumen Low and a 120 lumen Medium which both will cover most of my at home needs. But also gives me a eye-scorching 700 lumen High for when I am outside and on duty at work. The light has a tactical clicky which is a must have for me and a unobtrusive mode select button that allows complete one-hand operation which is another must have for me......

It has tailstand capability which is a plus and operates of off either CR123's, RCR123's, 17670's, or 18650's which is another plus. As I use solely CR123's and have the option of running it on 3 or 4 of them, add in the modes of output, and I have all the runtime I need.

Knives, Watches, and Flashlights are like Guns......you can never have too many!
