News is sayin tomorrow since folks are off that it's gonna be a major last minute buyin spree as procrastinators have a last chance to buy that chia pet or snuggie for their loved ones.

Hopefully stores recover a bit more this year to keep me busy (and employed)

another year.

Good luck with that. I for one won't be heading anywhere near a store if I can avoid it. Around here things are so bloody crazy I was tempted to toss away my movie tickets last night to avoid the traffic around the theater.

My wife did most of the shopping online this year. The good news is that it saved us money and time, the bad news is that the US Postal Service shipped my present from New Hampshire via California on its way to Missouri.

But UPS and Fedex were awesome about getting our stuff to us. You gotta love gov't effiency.

I braved the massing hordes and picked up a couple last minute presents today. There were too many people everywhere no question, but they were all in holiday spirits, so it wasn't too bad.
