Our knives are not meant to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars or screwdrivers. Our warranty does not cover normal wear, missing parts, accidents, altering, theft, loss, misuse, neglect, bent blades or broken blade tips. If you have a knife you wish to submit for evaluation, send it to: CASE REPAIR CENTER50 OWENS WAYBRADFORD, PA 16701 Please include your name, address, phone number and specific repair instructions. If you are sending multiple knives, please indicate the number of knives in package. Let us know if the knife/s has sentimental or collectible value. If your knife/s meets our warranty guidelines and can not be repaired, we will offer to replace it with a currently manufactured knife that most closely matches the one you sent. If you accept the replacement, you will not get your old knife back. If your knife/s can not be repaired and does not meet our warranty guidelines, it will be return “as is”. Repairs are made with 2011 parts. We recommend that you insure your package during shipment. Please allow 6-8 weeks for service. If your knife can be repaired and is not covered by our warranty, you will be contacted by mail with the non-warranty charges. Some non warranty fees: blades are $4.00 each, bone covers are $5.00 for each side, synthetic covers are $3.00 for each side, labor is $15.00 per knife and return S&H is $7.50. Well, since it states that I can refuse replacement, I'm just going to send it in and see what they'll do. My hope is that they'll see that it's unused, realize that the blade slop is a defect in workmanship, and will fix it. They mention blade replacement... If they're willing to remove a pivot pin to replace a blade, surely they're willing to tighten one up.

You could do that one yourself although you might get a raised pin that will need to be buffed down. Anyway, the thing will be whether or not they charge you for it.I guess we will see.2xTap
