I’m waiting on a SAK Yeoman from Robert Lessard (SAKModder).  It just went in the mail today and I can’t wait to get it.

Gerber MP600ST Sight Tool. I've wanted one for its carbon scraper that can serve as an awl and the extra long Phillips. Forgot to notice when I put my bid in that the carbon scraper was broken.   $10, plus $8 shipping, plus 53 cents sales tax (dang it, they never mentioned it in advance in VA, then it kicked in first of the month; but I'm glad that unlike other states, VA doesn't charge it on postage).  I'll send it off to Gerber when it gets here. From Camp Lejune to SWVA shouldn't take that long (or is FPO/APO different)?

Just paid for an LM Squirt P4 with the rare purple scales.  I'm surprised a US based MTo member hadn't snapped this one up, but instead it is heading downunder to be with friends.

Now if I could only find an orange Squirt that someone wanted to sell I'd have all the rare P4 colours that I know of (including EMS black, yellow).

Nice price even with the scraper broken. :like:

Only one side note; keep in mind that carbon scrapers, in general, are mild steel or bronze-steel alloy. They are made to not scratch gun parts. As an awl, these materials don't work very well(easily damaged).  :ahhh
Might be a good opportunity to source an awl from another MP600 model. :)

I think I might carry it around a couple days as is; but if Gerber does send me back a completely NIB example (as they did with an EZ Out in rough shape) it will likely end up being a shelf queen.

Seeing as these were mostly sold in the UK through various retailers to benefit the Royal National Lifeboat Institutute, they are tough to find in the US; and the shipping costs more than the model. Found one for under $10 shipped, from an Atlanta based seller.

Yes I am. I try to keep a focus on heavy trucks, farm/construction machinery, and emergency vehicles. Though I do seem to be on a Land Rover kick as of lately, which the set is.

Because Matchbox (what I mainly collect) is getting so hard to find (and when I do find something, it's quite often months old; while usually a batch a month is produced, I may be lucky if I find 4 different batches a year), between a factor of resellers stripping the shelves bare as soon as it stocks, and only one Walmart stocking the entire range (though most Dollar Generals do carry the main line), I've went back to European brands of diecast--i.e. Majorette, Siku, Corgi, etc.  Yeah, I can find Matchbox online, but often 3X-20X what they sell for. Versus the others, what they sell for in Europe or less.

:like:  You might want to look into a Whittler or Stockman pattern for whittling; but that Barlow will do fine. I find the spear point a bit better for hard use.   And I've put off buying a Harvester way too long. And I need another Micra. I bought one at a local store on sale, which was a dud, and I took it apart myself and promptly lost half the parts, as opposed to sending it to LM.

Unfortunately no, I just spoke to him today and he started apologizing, I’m like for what?
He spoke to his grandson, and he’s like “your giving them away”?
So he apologized again saying his grandson wants to look them over and see if there’s any he wants :(
Then he apologized again, lol

:like: Is that Marble's the one that looks like the old US Army Demo Knives, or the one that looks exactly like the current official Boy Scout knife? I have a suspicion it's the same factory, or the BSA has subcontracted through SMKW; where they're being made in the same factory alongside Rough Rider and Marble's (somewhere, I've got a Rough Rider with a Marble's etch; and they made a lot of them).

A used Wichard rigging knife. It was under $10; so I decided to try them out. I found a place with new ones for $20, so I'll get one of those for my collection as to have box and paperwork as opposed to a beater.

It is the demo replica.  I've wanted an example of a demo knife for the C&C collection after seeing one in the pocket dump thread.  :)

Just scored an unused 1999 Leatherman Crunch on eBay for $85.  :o

I have one NIB, but have wanted another early Crunch to use for some time. An offer I made on some other tools with someone didn't work out, so I was able to buy the '99 Crunch.  :woohoo:

Also have a Gerber Efect and CE Electrician tool on the way(both relatively C&C). :)

Seller photos below.
