I got two big care packages from Oregon today.
Which included:
The other box had a bit kit and a bunch of sheaths, but I had to buy that stuff.

Great stuff.
As you are the first one to handle one of these, I have a few questions. How's the paint, is it anodised or just painted? What is the blade steel, cm154 or 440? Is the blade plain or partialy serrated? Thanks.

It is painted, as I presume the red REI skeletools were. The retention nub on the liner lock that holds the blade shut has already lost its paint. I guess we'll see if it's more durable than the REI paint was, but I'm not going to be one to complain regardless given the circumstances. The blade is unmarked, so presumably 440 and is partially serrated.
