It doesn't matter where you go, a happy meal is only 500m and the next left* away.

When I went to Australia I was amazed at how many they had there.  Every day we seemed to be eating "Macca's".

I'm far too upper class for it personally, but some people really get into it.

One of my employees (and their kid!) eats there every morning on the way to work - occasionally they bring me a "Bacon & Egg McMuffin" - It's hard to know what to say.

One of my friends works in a mall, and has Maccas for dinners most nights before heading home.

(Incidentally, both examples are a little on the heavy set side.  :-X )

The advertising for it here is insane, They run constant TV campaigns that are updated probably every 3-4 months? They're trying to make it a Lifestyle thing

Lol. I laugh, because I obviously had similar thoughts when I read it too :D

Anyway Tinnie, isn't Texas technically "up" from Oz?
I used to come here a lot.

Nope...you got the wrong Texas.

This one is near the border between NSW and QLD. I work up in Innisfail(but occasionally make a trip down south to Gympie and Brisbane) so it is down.

Innisfail is up in the far north near Cairns

Not to defend Texas but it was Texas well before it was admitted into the US. It just wasn't the state of Texas, it was the Republic of Texas. From 1836 to 1845

LOL, very true but I was contesting HC's claim "It was ours first!".   :D ;)

Truth to tell, I wasn't expecting it to be that way round either.  I rather thought I was going to back up HC.  :-[

Like I said, I didn't want to defend Texas. It's an OK place but the scenery is spoiled by all the Texans.  :D As I like to say. "Texas, where so many, are so proud, of so little. I'd much rather be in the Ozarks.
