Ugh... that stuff is rough.  I was on it for a while.  I take Ambien CR now.

I wonder how many insomniacs we have on this board?  :)

I have struggled for years.  It was actually a reason why I chose shift work in the first place as I was up all hours anyway.

I'd agree with you there, but coming off nights was the final straw for me, before I started taking the tablet's I'd just wouldn't be able to sleep for a couple of days at a time, and I just got sick of feeling like a zombie , so I turned junkie instead :D

They do have one or two side effects, like your body feeling like its drunk 12 pints of stella in the space of 3 minutes :D, so if you not in bed when they take hold, the world can get a tad wobberly :o

Anyone else experience memory loss while taking them?  There are times when my fiance will say that I did things after I took my pill... and for the life of me I can't remember them.

I've woke up and found that I've bought stuff online the night before... and have no recollection of ever buying it.

Now, after I take the pill, I stay off the laptop :)

One of the many reasons I wouldn't touch those kinds of things with a ten foot pole.

You do realize that you are legally not responsable for items that you have purchased while under the influence of any medications, right?  For little things it might not be a big concern, but if a delivery truck pulls up in front of your house and three men start offloading onto very large carts you may want to remember that...

Never had any memory loss, just a bit of a groggy sensation that takes a few minutes to shrug off :)
