You'll have to let us know what you think of it.  I've liked the LM lights I've had in the past.

Ooo...just passing thru... :D
Things i notice with different type of batteries, it tends to works better consistently with alkaline battery like duracell than non alkaline....For its mere 45 lumens, just meet the needs..:D, ..bright enough for roof inspection during last unusually windy days.

Leatherman has good quality no nonsense lights that don't get much press in the other forum. Went to Leathermans site & they had no flashlights listed. Are the discontinuing the lights???

They bought out Led Lenser and are selling them under that brand.

My ST 300 came with a Monarch 400, and I must confess that I didn't expect much from this, turns out I was wrong ...

I love the Monarch 400, works great, looks great, feels great ... .

I've got more than enough 1xAA lights already (at least according to my wife I have anyway  ;)), so I'm not likely to seek one of these out.  I am however a fan of my Monarch 300.

Meh.  The Monarchs were never great lights.  The Serac line was way better.

I'm wondering if I should send it into leatherman.
I want to get an LED lenser back. =)

IIRC the lights are not covered by their 25 year warranty, more like 1 year or thereabouts. :-\

lol, honestly, I don't remember either.

I contacted leatherman and asked if they would send me an LED lenser product for my monarch warranty return.

I have the Monarch 200, 300, and 400 and I love them all.  My wife carries the little guy on her keys and the other two are my EDC.  I always have the 300 on me, and the 400 will be back on my belt soon for my new(old) job working security.

I start back doing it next Saturday.  This job is titled Loss Prevention, but it's a whole lot more than that.  It involves handling not only Security for the Resort, but internal investigations, safety, documentation, and handling terminated or suspended employees.  I did it for two and a half years, and about a year and a half ago I was promoted out of the department.  I wish that had never happened because I loved Security and for my purposes it was perfect and will be once again.  I will be back on my old schedule of 2 over nights and 3 evening shifts a week.  I love it because it's odd and I get a huge chance to check out new MT's and flashlights.  We are also responsible for all maintenance and repairs for in room safes and door locks(that's fun!).
