The pic on the aldi parking is really, um, unique?  :D Certainly a premiere in this thread!

Great pictures again all, it's always a pleasure to drop in here and see the updates.

I spent a few days down in Taunton for cricket, which ended up including trips to Exeter and then down the English Riviera to Torquay. No SAKs on display, I only had the Alox Classic on me which never made it into any photos, but I felt like it'd be a shame not to share a couple of snaps from the trip.





















The butterfly is a Red Admiral (I'm no expert, others identified it) and the trains are a newer class 802 and a good old British Rail HST - once branded InterCity 125. The latter being one of the trains I grew up with in the 80s/90s - they're still the comfiest on the entire network and invoke some very happy memories.

I'll just have to remember to include a SAK in the next set of photos - the Classic did cut open a sachet of mayonnaise for a mate in the pub at dinnertime, though. :)

Don't worry about there not being a SAK in these pics mate, the whole "pics of your SAK" thingy is only there to give us an extra excuse to take pics and post them here.

And I enjoy a nice scenery pic with or without a SAK in it, either way is fine by me.

Today I wanted to drive to work when I suddenly ran into a traffic jam, what's going on here? Oh, the Appenzellerbahn is coming, make a spontaneous pic...



Now it becomes clear to me that today it is regional "Alpabzug". The farmers bring their animals down from the high mountain meadows where grass no longer grows in autumn.









The people of Appenzell maintain their tradition with great pride, nice to watch.
After 20 minutes and a few hundred cows, the show was over.

Here are the final pics of these last two months.

Again, the same location as previously.  What can I say,  it's close to home, it's peaceful and quiet (if you go there on the right moment, that is).

And again, showing my Vic 28 and my Charge X.  These two have been my most used EDC setup for some time now (sometimes switching the Evo 28 for a Swisschamp or a Cyber tool L or Lite, and the Charge for a Wave, Rebar,  ST300 or Swisstool).








My small "go to" canteen, I noticed just now that it goes quite well with the BO Charge X  8).




And finally, while taking this last pic, I said to Misses TG-24 and our little girl Caitlin that, if this pic was made by my friend in the Land Down Under, it might not be a good idea for her to pose next to these dark murky waters... (I can't get my head around how you guys can go for a relaxing hike with that kind of wildlife around you...).

I made it out for a walk this morning and actually took a SAK with me this time. :D There were a few swans on the River Ribble, along with some other birds which I'm sure will be easily identified by many of you, but I'm no expert and didn't have a clue! :think:

Beautiful pictures my friend, thank you so much for sharing them here. 

I'm not a bird expert either, so my contribution to bird spotting would be limited to "that's a nice bird", "that's a big bird"... So pretty much useless  ;).

Those two stones in the last pics, any idea what they are?  The first one seems to have a broad arrow sign on top of it, and the bottom one looks like a border stone,  or military (border) stone to me.  But I would sure like to know more about them (I'm a bit of a history geek, so these things intrigue me).

Sorry for my absence. The work absorbed me again.
I'm going on another trip this weekend - hope that gives some nice pictures.

Cool pictures Eric, excellent equipment as always and the picture with Caitlin is so cute!
