Look what I've got
on: February 16, 2008, 01:41:29 PM
Pictures say a thousand words so

This one was born on the 0897 and the dates match on both handles .
Perfect condition  :D Took me right back to that camping shop where I first saw a Supertool .
I found build quality , fit and finnish to be better then the ST 200 I used to have . Also the angle on the serrated blade is perfect for a Sharpmaker which wasnt the case with a Charge I used to have .
I've got plenty more to say  ::) But time isnt on my side at the moment .

I hope that Super Tool knows how to fend for himself. He's gonna get a lot of ribbing living with a cupboard full of Vics.  ;)

That right there sir is the thing that made sliced bread go back to the drawing board. I think you will be pretty pleased with how it performs. I have had lots of tools that after getting them I'd say "this will put that Super Tool into retirement", but there is always some reason it doesn't happen. Super tough, reliable, and simple.

When you decide that this rubbish piece of junk has no right to live amongst your most excellent SwissTools, I suppose I can (grudgingly) take it off your hands.

I just don't want him to risk accidentally Grabbing the Supertool when he needs a Swisstool.

The consequences could be disastrous. Best to play it safe.

Eventually when the honeymoon period is over I cant see it replacing my Swisstool for EDC . The Swisstool is just far more easier to use .But the LM is a lovely piece that at the moment I just cant put down  :D

I have a all black oxide coated Supertool that was bought in the late 90s.
Surprisingly the black is totally intact despite the passage of time.
It is still one of my favorite multi-tools.
Even though I have a all black Charge, I still prefer the Supertool.

Welcome to the forum mate.  :)

It's good to see another Supertool fan on the boards.  I have a BO one as well and I am also impressed at how well the finish has held up.

I been here since July 07. Just been lurking a lot.
I am on a lot of sites, guns, knives, motorcycles, RC helicopters and planes.
So my time is somewhat divided by all of my interests.
I shall try and get back here more often.

I like the line inder your sig. The No Life Club.
With 5813 posts I guess that could be true.
I have a whole bunch as well, just divided among too darned many forums!

Since I am mostly a Leatherman fan, most of my posts will be here.
I just cannot see owning anything but LM.
Bad eyesight, perhaps?

Heh-heh, that No Life Club is a real exclusive deal. All you need is another 997 posts and you can be a full-fledged member! Benefits include missed meals, estranged family members, and a severe lack of sleep.

But the upside is, you get to hang out with guys like us!  :multi:

I am not sure if that is a good thing, or not?
I guess time will tell!
In the mean time, it's back to the RC helicopter forum for a spell.

Be warned I was a Leatherman fan when I started and wasn't really interested in much else, but my collection has grown just a little since then.  :D  And everyone must try a Swisstool at some point.  :)
I'm back!!
