new to sog
on: August 11, 2012, 09:36:23 AM
i've always just bought leatherman but of late im getting more and more interested in sog.i managed to come across a powerplier in brand new condition.loving it.so much so i've ordered a powerlock s60.

on the powerplier and the sheath it has EDMONDS WA stamped yet on other sog stuff i've seen it has LYNNWOOD.

common sense tells me the factory simply moved to lynnwood but i cant find this history anywhere.can someone well into sog here confirm this for me or does it mean something else.

also, the sheath it came with that has EDMONDS on it,should i keep that to one side or are they common as anything?

thankyou as always to MTO for info you cant get anywhere else.

                                                                gav

.......  As for why some say Edmonds instead of Lynnwood.  Well SOG was based in Edmonds for a while and those must have been produced while wee were based in Edmonds."

I'll have to check my SOG sheats later to see what they're stamped.. :)
