Question on commenting on the news

I know that political discussion is not allowed, but are we allowed to discuss how the news reports politics?

I would prefer to avoid such things as it tends to drag us into political discussions where guys who are otherwise good friends start to hate eachother over differing opinions that neither of them really have any say in. If you think it can be done safely then by all means give it a shot, but don't be too upset if it starts to go south and a moderator locks it.

Thanks for the offer boss, but Allan is right, while my intention was to poke fun at the news/media for something they are doing it would point directly at one particular office.
