Today while my ladies were hanging fresh laundry one of the old ropes broke and some of the clothes fell down onto the roof. We will have to wait for our neighbors to get back home so we could get that back. In the meantime we’ve managed to get a new bright yellow rope and I’ve cut it to a proper length with a Work Champ’s main blade

You could use your SAK's bottle opener 90º stop as a hook to pick them up. Tie the SAK to a long rope and you might be able to do it.

Actually, as large as the Workchamp is, you wouldn't even need a rope!

And then something slightly bad happened - I must have put my SAK somewhere dusty (most of the places here despite all our efforts) and it started to open with scratching noise and a little less smoothly. I washed it in hot water and now it’s much better, but sadly I don’t have a Vic oil with me and there’s no place to buy it here. Ordered some from US, but I Ben if it will arrive - it’ll take weeks for obvious reasons

On second thought, maybe use a coat hanger or improvise a hook from some strong wire. Better not risk your SAK.

Well I found a piece of copper wire laying around and made a hook out of it but failed to catch anything with it. No worries though - neighbors brought us our stuff a few hours later

A few days ago, with a little help from the friends...
Prying open a hard disk casing with the help of an old explorer, an old ranger, CT 29, DAK 92, swisstool RS... easy.

Today was using wenger Europa 92 to cut some box, but needed to get the serrated blade from the Swisstool.

Bit of love for the hook today after it made short work of getting this drain cover up. Might even go after a hook use badge for this one  :ahhh

I used my Executive to attach the red dot finder on my telescope last night. After the stargazing session at the astronomy club my Climber opened a beer for one of the members.

You should always carry a SAK in your eyepiece case :P
