Used the locking blade on my S557 to cut out some compartment dividers in a plastic odds-and-ends organizer. It's a really cheap one from Walmart so doesn't have the dividers that slide out to rearrange the compartments.

The S557 gets very little use, but it just felt safer using the locking blade instead of a 91mm SAK folding blade.

I was working down in my basement cutting some tubing and my outdoorsman slipped out of my hand smashing on the concrete floor. Now the red cellidor scale is cracked and loose  >:D and Now it’s got me thinking that if it was my Farmer X that I dropped instead- it would have probably survived the fall unscathed.  I really am slowly becoming more and more of an Alox convert
Don’t tell my Explorer!

I carried my Soldier 08 all day in a crazy forest trail... Didn't use it once (been using an Opinel #8, today for food prep and cleaning some plants from my lunch site)... When I arrived the place where I'm staying was about to break open a beer, there was no bottle opener... Soldier 08 saved the day.
that's it sir! 👍🍺

Harbor Freight sells nose hair trimmers? Corded,  battery, or gas powered?

The gas-powered one doubles as a weed whacker for garden gnomes.

I gave a friend a ride to pick up a motorcycle he just bought. We used my Tourist to put the license plate on it and then to crack open a celebratory beer after the ride home.

I used my Outrider to sharpen the ends of weed eater string, and the large locking screwdriver as a wrench to open the gas cap.

Once in a while, the pull tab in a corn can fails. Time to get the Silver Explorer to the rescue.

Perfect cut, works every time.

This evening I used the chisel on my Swiss Champ for, I think, the first time ever.

I needed something to scrape off a 1/4" spot of Gorilla Super Glue from the back of a Photon Micro Light. (Failed attempt at gluing on a magnet.) The chisel took it right off!

The chisel is a tool that I rarely use, too. It did work in a pinch for removing pieces of Metal Earth models from their fret. Maybe I'll give it a try for a currently running paint stripping project.

I used the pliers on my Deluxe Explorer to unbend a bent watch bracelet spring bar, then the corkscrew eyeglass screwdriver to tighten the screw links on the watch bracelet.

Hee hee, old Lefty! I have a 6mm - 8mm adapter for such occasions in my kit, but I have seen people use 2 smaller Allen keys together to do the job (eg a 5mm & 3mm) - good to get you home and the full tool kit. Interesting looking frame - is that all chrome?
