Wow, I just looked at that.  This bit struck me as interesting...

In addition to his thousands of fans, Nutnfancy, like every other YouTuber, has some haters. These people are usually low on the intelligence scale and miss the point of what he is trying to say.

I think someone is taking someone just a little too seriously.....

Well if he can get the money for it, good for him. Every item is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

Nut has been around for a few years and does not seem to be slowing down, so maybe this will prove to be a good investment in the end... Most regular celebritiies have done a lot less than him and may be known by a lot fewer people too.

I do sometimes, ok rarely, check his reviews and if you use fast-forward a lot they can be informative. Nobody forces me to see all of it or even any of it, dudes!

although I will pass on the gloves and the shorts, I must agree with DKS. Someting is as valuable as someone is willing to pay for it. also, what costitute a celebrity is also based on the fanboys. And to the fanboys, the celebrity´s word is law. I think we have seen things like that all the time.

I've wat hed a ton of Nutnfancy vids. I'm NOT a fan, but I take his view on any piece of gear in perspective with other stuff. Anyone dropping a couple grand on gloves has brain damage or more money than they deserve.

As for why the hate... Nutnfancy is kind of jock smurfhole. He also occasionally says straight up wrong crap. But on the other hand there are things he knows, shares, and has reasonable experience in. I REALLY don't get the rabbid fan following, but then I don't get attraction to a lot of things folks like. So... :/

I met Nut a few years ago at SHOT.  He seems like a nice enough guy, although we didn't spend any time talking or anything.  I have no hate for the guy myself.  I find his videos lengthy and rambling, but that's no big deal- some folks like him, some folks don't and that's great,  he's a guy doing something his way and on his terms and you have to give him credit for that.

Whether you like the way he does it or not is up to you.

Totally agree.  I wish someone wanted to pay 2k for some official syph modding gloves!  Im completely neutral on the guy.  Hes long winded, but I still tend to agree with most of his opinions on tools.  Some of the vids where he 'interviews' people at booths are on the aggressive/obnoxious side for sure, but then again, Im a very opinionated person myself... so... pretty neutral overall feeling of the guy.

He started out with good gear reviews, and I've defended him against criticisms on his reviews. But lately he has letting his "celebrity" status going right into his head and started to pandering to viewers by going all political and tactical, forgoing what made people like him to begin with.

Not hate, just no longer like.
