So what's the scoop on a Pulse?
on: January 17, 2013, 03:09:57 AM
I saw a used one in a shop today, it could use a bit of cleaning, but it was in good shape. I offered the guy $20, and he put it back in the case. What's a fair price?

For one in good condition (no broken tools, no serious rust) you're probably looking at $40-50 at least. They have gotten pretty collectible as they also have a very popular tool set in a small package.

I snagged one off ebay last year in excellent condition with the original leather sheath for $50, and I consider that a good catch on my part. Just keep your eyes peeled.

Got it today for $35, sans sheath. It has a few minor scratches and a bit of rust here and there. Nothing I can't fix.  Sounds like a reasonable deal, based on my research.
