We, here in Australia, have had some horrendous weather over the last weekend and there is extensive flooding in many parts of the eastern seaboard.
One of the things that happened was the main AND backup fibre-optic backbone for this side of the country of the carrier I'm with were both severed.

Now I have some sites working ok, if a little slow, but eBay just times out. GREAT, I have a dozen items listed and bids on a bunch of stuff and more that I was watching and I cant do squat about any of it.

Maybe its for the best if you're like me and tend to buy more than you should on ebay!

Sometimes (often) I just type wenger or victorinox and sort by time ending and just throw down bids so see if I get lucky.

Who told you my secret method?

It was a bunch of those that I wanted to monitor. I can get access on my phone, but it's much more convenient on the PC.

Thanks for the offer, I do run across the occasional item that I want but the seller doesn't ship internationally. Another member here helped out with the last one. but I might take you up on that some time.

The number of times I have gone through and put low-ball bids on dozens of items and then virtually had a panic attack when I realise that if I win them all it will be hundreds of dollars.

Usually works out that I might win a handful.

I know that feeling. Lately for me its been on random Wenger donors that have parts that are harder for me to get. The pliers and more universal wrenches are in my sites.

It's weird, eBay is still totally unusable here, other sites are okay, but slower to load than usual.

Even using eBay.com rather than .com.au is crap.
