The Best Birthday Cake Ever?

As some of you know the 5th I turned 25. Well my present from my sister was so awesome, yet also tasty.

I also received a silver tech climber from my pal on here.

My roomy got me a Orange kershaw leek and box of .380 bullets.

My mother made me exactly wanted I ask for. I ask her to make me a recipe book of all her recipes. How often do you hear people say I wish I knew what mom did when she made it? Well I didn't want to be one of those and my mom is a wonderful cook so that was my request. She went a few steps further though and typed them all up and printed on photo paper and put in a little picture album so they would last longer. My mom is the best.

My wife made me a SAK cake the first years of our marriage. I was thrilled.
There were no digital cameras then at the house.

That's a very cool cake, and I think your mom making you a book of all her recipes is about the coolest gift someone could ever get.

Been after recipes from mom on stuff too, but she's a professional procrastinator & pack rat. Since the move she lost recipes. So I told her, "if you only would of let me put them on CD ..." parents, they never listen ...
